PCHA Important Announcements

Here is your latest edition of the Pacific Coast NEWS. Alot of points have been tallied throughout the year so make sure you are up to date on your point totals. If anything does not look right feel free to contact the office (818) 842-8194.
Don't forget about our Incentive Program going this year. It is open to current PCHA horses and riders. The lucky division this year are Child/Adult Jumpers 1.10m, Jr/ AO Hunter 3'3", Child Adult Hunters 3', Amateur Ranch Riding, Amateur Trail and Amateur Reining. The cost is on $70 per horse/rider per division and we count your best 5 shows. The pot starts with $500 and $50 from each applicant goes into the pot so the more applicants the more money to be won!! Application can be found on the website as well as at all PCHA sanctioned shows.
The Pink Classic was held at the Burbank Equestrian center this past month. Big Congratulations to our 2017 Trail classic winner Liana Erenberg and I B Good. Another Big Congratulations to Tina Bellini and her horse Big Great Chex for winning the 2017 Baker Reining Classic for the 2nd year in a row. Cant wait to see everyone again next year.
We are looking forward to our Medal Finals coming up. Both of our PCHA Horsemanship Medal Finals are held at Portuguese Bend September 8-9. The Foxfield Medal Finals held at Foxfield Jumping Derby October 7-8. The Onondarka Medal Finals are held at The Del Mar Intl Final October 26-29.

This years convention will be held down in San Diego at the Manchester Grand Hyatt January 6-7. We are excited about this new venue and look forward to having a great time with all of you.
PCHA also does eblasts throughout the month. If you would like to be on our mailing list, either shoot us an email or call Janelle in the office. Topics are anywhere from rule changes, new rules, upcoming events, etc. Get on our mailing list today so you're up to date on PCHA news.

Introducing the Rachel Joseph Achievement Award

PCHA and the Joseph Family will award a perpetual trophy in Rachel’s name to an outstanding junior rider. Trainers are invited to nominate riders for the award based on the characteristics Rachel exemplified. Rachel was a selfless, dedicated, and tenacious advocate. She was supportive, kind and committed to excellence. Rachel had a “can do” attitude in any circumstances and a tireless work ethic. By recognizing a junior rider with outstanding achievements in and around the show arena, the Joseph family and PCHA will honor Rachel’s memory.
